Name – Hilary Harper

Where are you likely to be seen in the Village – Walking my Sprocker, Amber, around the village, especially down at Netherclay Community Woodland. I’m also very involved in St Peter and St Paul’s Church.

Why are you a Parish Councillor –  Since moving to the village just over 2 yrs ago I’ve wanted to get more involved in whats going on and to be part of something that improves things for the community.

When not volunteering as a Parish Councillor what are you likely to be doing- I’ve been retired for a few years now after working for Avon and Somerset Police. I love spending time with my family and volunteering.  I help run Baby Badgers toddler group at The Hub and I enjoy art, knitting and reading. Also, looking after nature and the environment are very important to me.

What would people be surprised to know about you –  I served for 9 years in the Royal Navy (WRNS) and I used to be a skier and horse rider.
