Where Likely To Be Seen in the Village – I used to be seen regularly walking my lovely Spaniel “Sheps” with all the other many nice dog walkers but he died a little while back but can still be seen most often helping my wife refresh the “Dog Watering Station “ outside the front of our house.

Why did I Become a Parish Councillor – Originally I joined around eight years ago to assist getting our Hub built. So glad I did as it’s a fantastic facility in a beautiful setting … all us locals should be very proud of it.

I have recently rejoined as I still feel I can contribute specially for our older residents of which I am now one.

What do I do in my Spare Time –My main hobbies are cooking and doing crosswords, in fact many years ago I worked as a chef. I am also a Probus  member and a friend of our Mayor Martin there as we both enjoyed long careers in the Wine Trade.

Want to Know a Surprise About Me –In my younger days I went down a coal mine to interview miners for a Government survey for sufferers of silicosis.
