Where are you likely to be seen in the village?
You can find me in the Hub or Millennium Gardens where I volunteer most Saturday mornings or walking across the village and down to town – often two steps behind my husband’s mobility scooter!
Why are you a Parish Councillor?
We chose to move to the village fifteen years ago because of its strong sense of community – something we had missed living ‘up on the hills’. I joined the Parish Council because I wanted to be part of the team that helps the community to grow and develop. I hope I can ensure that policies and decisions are inclusive, fair and will benefit everyone in our lovely village.
When not volunteering as a Parish Councillor, what are you likely to be doing?
Apart from working in the Oxfam bookshop in town, I love gardening, reading and anything to do with travel.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
Many years ago I regularly played the part of the wicked witch in pantomime and was known to have a very loud cackle!
